PEP Region 2 Training Calendar 2011-12
All trainings will be held on the second Thursday of each month unless otherwise specified. All trainings will be STARS approved and will be held at CANDO (on 3 St.). Please RSVP prior to the day of the training if you plan to attend.

October 8 (Saturday): Region 2 Conference at Clarion Inn- 8 hours, breakfast and lunch included
November 10: Play Exploration in Family Child Care (Sue Erpelding, PEP Statewide Coordinator)
December 8: Holidays Around the World (activities and snacks from around the world- Teira Scott)
January 12: Behavior Management Part 2 (at Solutions for Life- Cathy Spence and Stacy Toma)
February 9: Kindergarten Readiness-What Pre-K kids Need to Know (DPS Kindergarten Teachers)
March 8: Cultural Awareness and Infants (Noamie Niemitalo-MHCC Early Childhood Center)
April 12: Sensory Activities for Children (Penny Hotovec- Wyoming PBS)
Please remember that PEP is a professional network for family child care providers focused on training, support and networking. The focus of our meetings and trainings is support for the child care provider. Not all trainings or all discussions are appropriate for children, with that in mind your children or the children you care for may not attend group networking meetings or training sessions. If your local group or region plans a social function the option to include children may be available. Unless the local or regional event is specifically listed as a family event children should not be included.
