P.E.P. - Providers Empowering Providers -
Providers Empowering Providers (P.E.P.) was developed as a proactive approach to raising the level of quality in child care throughout Wyoming.  P.E.P. consists of three major elements:   training, support and networking.  Each of these elements are intricately woven to help child care providers combat isolation, burnout and operate successful, quality child care programs.

P.E.P. recognizes and utilizes the rich array of experience and knowledge found within the family child care community.  Our program was developed for providers, by providers, and is committed to helping providers offer the best possible environment for those special individuals they represent:  CHILDREN.

Support and Networking

Family child care providers spend 12-14 hours per day generally without the ability to interact with peers.  Therefore, we have developed and are implementing a statewide family child care network to help combat isolation, burnout, and improve provider retention.

Training

P.E.P. is dedicated to coordinating training in all parts of the state to make it easier for providers to obtain annual training hours.  Along with this commitment, comes the guarantee that the training will be quality and relevant to home providers
